Brooks Trading Course social media communities
I think the course is absolutely awesome.
However, I'm writing because I am having a difficult time digesting the information from the course. I'm a reasonably intelligent person I think, but I am brand new to trading and when I'm looking at charts and trying to apply the concepts from the course, I just get confused.
I Google the terms that I don't understand and that helps. I think I've been able to comprehend some of the concepts ok.
Any suggestions that you might have regarding how to best study the BTC would be greatly appreciated. I understand that I'm kinda learning a new language when it comes to reading charts and I'm ok with working hard to learn how to trade.
I just want to make sure that I'm going about it in the right way and that I am getting everything I can from this course.
The “How best to learn price action” topic is an important one and will be addressed further on site. For now, here are some things to consider:
1. Why not try the 2 free days in Al's trading room which is run from his other site here: Brooks Price Action website. You can follow how Al analyzes and trades the ES S&P500 market throughout the day. You can find links on BTC site "Learn to Trade/Trading Room" page. You will need to register over there with different credentials. I am not involved at all. TOTALLY SEPARATE WEBSITES.
2. On same site there is a forum where traders exchange Q&A, like here. Also, you can read Al’s daily update bar-by-bar analysis for the day’s he is in room (15 days a month min). You can learn a lot from this analysis.
3. Go through the Brooks Trading Course from start to finish, as Al recommends. Al designed it this way. Wrtite down your questions as you go along and later videos will likely give the answer. If not, drop your question for the specific video(s) in this forum for other traders to step in and help.
4. If you have any other questions on specific course videos, or further questions on the Q&A topics here, feel free to start a discussion here.
5. Read Al’s Daily Emini and Forex report, and the weekend report here on the Brooks Trading Course website.
6. Lots of learning materials on the Brooks Trading Course site under the "Learn to Trade" menu, and 100+ Ask Al trading room Q&A audio and video extracts. These short media clips cover the whole range of price action trading topics. So check, out these in between video lessons:
a. "10 best patterns" post on the Learn to Trade menu.
b. "What is price action" post on same menu.
c. "How to Trade Manual' articles on same menu.
3. "Ask Al Q&A Transcripts" on the Article Categories right side sidebar.
4. "Learn to Trade/Glossary" for price action terms.
