Hi , I just started out with the course , as I am school going boy due to which I have to attend classes , due to this I get only 2 hours to trade (from the open) so I am restricted to trade on 1min charts for more bars , so I wanted to ask that am I going in correct direction ? Or should I trade only on the 5min charts
Since you started with the course about a day or so ago, I think your focus should be on learning first before trying to trade. After you are done with the course, you will be better off to decide on which time frame you make your best trade decisions. As a general rule, Al says that a day trader should look to trade on a 5 minute charts because you can not make many correct decisions on 1 minute charts fast enough to turn profitable. One tends to take a lot of losing trades and does not recover those losses within the day to turn a profit. With practice however, it may change. It depends on individual orientations more.
In any case, trading on 1 minute charts for beginners is not advisable.
