Nice quote. I have one too: we end up paying for our mistakes sooner or later and the longer we wait the higher the price.
For example: when not taking a loss after making a mistake. Initially the market may offer us BE but we ignore it. Then the market reaches our stoploss but we move it out of the way. Later the market pulls back to our original stoploss area as part of BOP retest but we skip it. After that it goes against us for MM but we scale in, and on and on. The point is the market often does come back to allow us to exit, but each subsequent opportunity will be at a worse and worse price.
That's a good one Mr. Carpet. An often repeated mistake.
Traders have to look at the market as cold hard facts, with objectivity and brutal honesty.
