I've heard Al mention Elliot Wave Theory a couple of times now so far in the course. Would anyone recommend an in-depth study of this theory, and if so, any recommendations?
So far, it seems tertiary to the other course material, but I thought I might get some input on this.
There is a classic book on Elliot Wave Theory titled "Elliot Wave Principle" by A.J Frost.
Also, there is a blogger PUG SMA who is pretty good at Elliot Wave Theory and offers market analysis based on Elliot Waves.
I have used EW to trade but gave it up because the wave count is too ambiguous most of the time to develop an acceptable trader's equation based on risk/reward.
In my opinion you should abandon Elliot wave and study Hurst cycles, superior analysis, less ambiguity with understanding.
