I just came across an article that's almost a year old saying that Al Brooks has passed away. But the sources seem questionable and it even seems like one of the photos is of a different individual. There is nothing on this website to confirm this news and I can even see him on YouTube video as recent as two months ago.
Can anybody tell me if this is really true?
Yeah, an AI bot is currently presenting 4 days a month in the trading room, mimicking Al's voice and his trading methods.

Well you should know that Al is an American, lives in California (Pacific Time) and not a member of the Museum of British Surfing. Not only that but 2 quite different photos. Come on.
A good example of pathetic fake news or AI-enabled news we can expect a lot more of. Any sane writer knows there are more than one Al Brooks in the world.

That's how scams and fake news works. A little looks right so readers do not make the effort to study more and find the typos and other giveaways. This one had glaring errors with its photos and references to UK surfing that you should have noticed.
