Hi,
I'm reading Al's books and simultaneously following along with course videos as I love reading the books but also need a visual perspective to better understand. So far so good, I'm enjoying both the books and the course.
Al refers a lot to the 5min charts and to scalping as a strategy, but I wonder if the same ideas can be applied to higher time frames e.g. 4h/1h swing strategy?
I only do long spot markets trading for religious reasons, and I find that scalping in LTF is not profitable enough without leverage. Whereas in swinging HTF the reward is worth the risk in my opinion.
Any idea and perspective is welcomed. ^_^
Thank you very much!

Exactly the same thing for all time frames!

Out of curiosity, could you elaborate what the religious reasons are?

In addition to the books and course, you should refer to the top 4 links on the "Learn to Trade" menu. Here is the first making it clear that price action applies to all instruments and time frames. An important point that seems to be missed often...

Thank you for pointing that out. It's very helpful! 😍

According to Islamic jurisprudence you are only allowed to sell what you possess and own (can't sell something you borrow) hence it isn't allowed to short sell markets. And also everything that has interest or is made possible through interest is not allowed.

I see, thanks for your kind explanation!
