Or does he somehow get the higher timeframe charts based on RTH only?
On TradingView you can get RTH for intra-day charts, but there is no way to do so on D, W and M charts. I don't know if TradeStation allows that.

I wouldn't be surprised if Al tries to use RTH everywhere as much as possible. For those here who use Ninjatrader there is a trick to setup Daily RTH:
1) Tools - Trading Hours and add a custom hours template for just RTH times of ES.
2) Create a 1440 minute chart period
3) Assign the chart to use the newly created time template and it will obey the exact RTH start/stop of ES with 81 bars
The problem with the preset CME Index Futures RTH template is that it shows more than 81 bars.

I’m also confused by this. Does anyone know whether TradeStation uses RTH in the daily, weekly and monthly charts?
Is there maybe any code that can get me RTH for these timeframes on TradingView?
