For ES daily charts which exclude the Globex session, how accurate is the EMA on the Open, and should traders remove it for the first half hour

during contract rollover, how to get accurate EMAs / how long until accurate
The RTH EMA is very accurate. On big GU/GD days price often forms some kind of TR on the open until it reaches EMA and a trend finally begins only after it finally touches it.
Rollovers don't affect EMA. The new contract will have historic prices shifted up/down so that the EMA continues unaffected.
