Hi! Is there a place where one can find a list of the "100 or so" basic patterns?
I would like to drill those into my head and then expand out with the Encyclopedia.

This page contains the index if that's what you are looking for. This has all the patterns but the inner contents are present in the encyclopedia only.

If I may say so, this approach appears a bit counterintuitive to me. The rational way would be to progress through the trading course and take your own notes and keep revising the videos or your notes as the need may be.

Above link to Al's "10 best patterns" post should be more than you need. Suggest you do not try and overwhelm yourself with 100 or more! You can do well enough just waiting on several setups.
As Abir notes, better to work your way through course. Al did not design Encyclopedia to be a list of patterns for traders to cherry pick, and you need a good understanding of price action (and market context) before making good use of Encyclopedia.
Just my 2 cents.
In the last year I have studied the video course once through and significant parts of it again. I have also read all 4 of Al's books. I have made a OneNote notebook with 34 subject entries. I am trading profitably now. I have been looking at the Encyclopedia trying to identify the basic patterns Al referred to, but for the life of me, I can't identify them. I have downloaded the index.xlsx. I see the way it is organized - fine. But, I still don't see the basic patterns. If a list of the basic patterns has never been made, that is fine. I was just wondering.
