Hi,
Whoever from the team is reading this please convey my highest regards to Al with a hug if possible. I am trying to make some money so I can afford to meet Al if possible and also to give my family the best i can as their care taker. Although I have already given a testimony, I would still want someone to please let him know personally that my journey to learn trading has received a great boost since I came directly to Brooks trading course. I am lucky to have directly made it here instead of going anywhere else. I have experience of working in Derivatives operations for a bank so i have picked up things that have helped me start making some money. I am still making mistakes and still learning but i have made some profits very recently. I am in the second round of course where i am at Video 18A again. I intend to do this course twice more at least as i am a slow learner and of course there is a lot to cover.
Coming to my question. My question is -
From the books that Al read till now and apart from his 4 books (which i have already bought but not started reading due to my main job and two kids and trying to complete the course) and the one he is writing (which i will buy as soon as it is out in the market) what are the top 5 or 10 books Al would recommend anyone new like me who is picking trading as a second career.
I am 37, I wish i had started this earlier. I am asking this question for me and for my two kids who I would like to expose trading once they are 15. I am looking to hold some good books in my library so i can read and learn and so can my kids when their time comes.
So please consider the seriousness of this question as it is not just about me and this life of mine but also for my two kids and generations to come. Please help me get a response if possible 😊
Thanks Al. You must know this, you have changed one more life for good. God bless you and your family.
Thanks to the team member who might look at this request and actually action it. God bless.
Regards,
Tanmay.

Hi Tanmay. Congratulations on your success and wish you more on the road ahead. Al discussed about book suggestion a few years back in the trading room which has since been archived. Here is the link to it, maybe it'll be of some help to you in your journey - https://www.brookstradingcourse.com/ask-al/trade-probabilities-book-recommendation/
Also, a small suggestion - Indian parents have a way of pushing their kids into things that they want them to do. Although, they think they're choosing what's best for their children, I'd highly recommend you to let them choose their own calling and you act just as an objective and impartial mentor to them in their journey.
Good luck!
Start by reading the ones you have purchased
In the Ask Al: Book recommendation trade probabilities article one of the books mentioned is Trading & Exchanges: Market Microstructure for Practitioners by Larry Harris. A funny aside is that the author thanks a huge number of people for help in writing the book and one of them is Bernie Madoff who was exposed a few years later for running a Ponzi scheme. This in no way detracts from the information in the book but I do feel sorry for the author who must have taken some ribbing after the Madoff story broke.
