Can the course slides be made available to facilitate studying? I tried to take a screenshot of the slides, but it shows a black photo. Unwilling to download snagit because it requires a paid subscription.

Not possible to give out slides as pirates would make good use of them. Same for making video files available for download.
Ref screen capture we have moved to an anti-piracy system. Please try Firefox or Edge browsers to capture slides. Safari not supported due to outstanding Apple licensing application, and Chrome not reliable.
You can use built-in free capture tools like Snip & Sketch for Windows. Other free programs out there. No need to buy Snagit is not going to make use of its features.
