On slide 7 Al explains that traders who are long would be taking (partial?) profits at the pink line as that is 2x actual risk, but the bear bar a little after the entry went below his initial actual risk, wouldn't that create a new actual risk? Also, should the trader get out at some point in the TR as the market tested his entry price a few times?

More than that the MKT is not trending up (not consecutive bull bars closing on the high, no follow thru on BOs above EMA nor prior highs) so at some point bulls give up and exit with small loss or profit.
