This is not a spoken error and Al is simply making a statement. I have modified subtitle file to put all words on same line so should be easier to understand - all said in one sentence without a break. You need to take account of context (that dreaded word!). Here are the subtitle lines for whole point which should help clarify point. Putting the "..because it's cheap" on same line does help I feel:
"The bulls are buying because of momentum
rather than because of fundamentals.
They’re not buying up here because it’s cheap.
They’re buying up here
because the market is going up
and they think it’ll continue up,
because the pullbacks are small."
