If you are not sure if you are in a tight or broad channel in the left picture, you can go to the right picture and decide easily: it is too strong so the left channel is tight, not broad.

Not always, but in your example yes: you have a tight channel on the left and a microchannel on the right. Yet, with TRs: A TR in a bigger time frame will still be a TR in a lower time frame, tho it might have tradable swings. But this TR in a still bigger time frame can be a PB.

How do you know what HTF to check? Example> if you are watching the 5 min, unsure of tight/broad, do you check 15, 30, 60...?
