Explain please why the bars I have arrows on are not considered H bars of some kind? I am EXTREMELY frustrated by these freaking things. I feel they are poorly presented, unnecessarily complicated and possibly not even necessary in the grand scheme of things. Thank you.
You need to live with the frustration because it will be with you quite often in the trading world. Blaming others is something that we all did and sometimes it relieves but it won't help to solve the problem.
Most bars in the chart are some kind of high or low something. Al marked in green the big H3 pattern tho because the MKT is fractal there are small patterns inside big patterns. The bars you highlighted are part of the smaller H4 pattern in blue. The H2 was a doji within a TTR and the H3 was the 3rd consecutive bear bar, so they were bad signals and therefore buyers should wait.
Once frustation is gone, if you still think:
unnecessarily complicated and possibly not even necessary in the grand scheme of things
... then you still have a long way to go.
