Assuming you enter with stop orders, do you execute your orders manually:
- finger on the hotkey, ready to press as soon as the price breaks previous bar,
- auto-transmit (no additional confirmation)
or on the chart?
- click on chart,
- order gets created somewhere at some price level,
- adjust and transmit
If you're using hotkeys and auto-transmit, how do you adjust size when the stop needs to be further away? The only option I see is setting your hotkeys to transmit a small unit by default, eg 1 ES contract when your normal size may be 3 contracts. If the stop is far away, press only once, if the stop is tight, press 3 times.
How do people manage this?
