After 100 trades,
If lose initial risk x50 + exit at actual risk x50, is that a positive trader's equation?
A trader's equation remains favorable as long as (avg pWin * avg win size) > (avg pLoss * avg loss size) regardless of whether the losses or wins are based off initial or actual risks.
If lose initial risk x50 + exit at actual risk x50, is that a positive trader's equation?
This would not yield a positive trader's equation because if you are exiting at once actual risk is because you are scalping, and for doing so and get a positive trader's equation you need a 70% of more of success, while in your example it is only 50%.
