I have been following Al's EOD markings of E-mini for the past few days. He publishes 2 materials - one on BTC blog and one on BPA. I am studying the E-mini charts live till I can and then I compare my readings with Al's to see what I missed out and what I did right.
However, the challenge arises for me when I am trying to collate the BTC report with BPA. There are instances when Al marked the chart on BPA as a buy while he marks the BTC report as a sell, being one of the challenges. He is also posts much detailed analysis on the BPA report which is becoming a bit uncomfortable for me(while it also helps clear doubts). I realize that he marks the charts on BTC as possible swing entries and BPA includes both swing and scalp entries, and much intricate PA analysis. I am confused as to how I can collate the readings on 2 places and make proper sense out of it.
Your inputs will be really helpful.
Also, I am seeing that Al does not comment on the last 10 bars or so in the BPA EOD report. Could someone please explain the reason for that as well?

That is great!

Yes, but talking without an example is not very helpful. Try to post a chart in which you have problems and we will try to help.

Only that at the end of the day he is tired and stops typing.
Al Brooks Bar By Bar (brookspriceaction.com)
On September 10th, Al marked bar 67 as BTC instead of STC(possibly BTC) on the BPA chart but he was marking sell below bars all through to the end on the BTC. This is what struck me in the first place. How should I interpret this?
Like you said to me in an earlier post that most reversals are 40-50%, is this one of those situations where a trader bets on a low probability event expecting a swing move?
Only that at the end of the day he is tired and stops typing.
I see. Appreciate that he can patiently stay in the market for almost 6 hours straight and keep on typing his views. I can't keep myself comfortable for more than 3 hours at a time I think.
Thanks for your reply. Hopefully, the case I posted would be sufficient of an example to take this discussion forward.
Another problem I am facing while studying his bar-by-bar analysis is, I am getting too confused as he frequently changes his outlook. Would I be better off not reading his BPA EOD report for now and use it only to clear doubts about the swing setup report on BTC website?
I have started following the BPA report following your previous suggestion. What would you suggest as the way forward? Dropping the BPA report study seems counter-intuitive as it seems contrary to your suggestion.
P.S. - I have not yet completed the full BTC. I am in the final stages of fundamentals section.
Thanks for your help and guidance. It helps me progress in the right direction without wasting much time. The senior members' guidance has been instrumental in whatever progress I made so far. Thanks a lot for all the help you provide.
Okay, yeah. I will keep persisting with it for a couple more weeks before I decide that I might give up on it. Hopefully, things start to get easier with persistence. If not, I will come back here to ask for help again. Thanks again! It helps a lot.
Sorry, I every day rad Al's dayly reporty on AlsBlog, but you find it on BPA as well!
May I ask what part of the webpage that is?
Tried to find it on the abbreviations list, but no solution.
Hope to hear.
By the way, the weekly reports , are they tegular or irregular?
Found none of them in my postbox, nor evven in it's spampart!
Thank you

Every weekend so far. Just go to Al's blog and you will find them.
Alternatively, dont stop reviewing his BPA analysis, but only review it for the BTC marked swings that dont make sense to you.
Yes, that was the original purpose initially. It evolved however, after following his BPA report for a few days. It makes a lot of sense at some places and it confuses me at some other. I guess, I just have to keep pushing through for the time being and see what happens.
