I am a full time employee, and I want to learn how to trade, I am thinking specifically about scalping and I created a free account in TradingView. I would like to buy your course, do you think it will be beneficial for beginner level?
Yes, the course is designed for beginners and experienced traders. As a beginner, just work your way through course from start to finish. Take your time as there is lots to learn and it takes a lot of effort to lean to trade successfully. Do not expect quick results and only trade with real money when you can make consistent profits on a simulated account. Psychology kicks in when money is on the line and we can make silly decisions when our emotions hijack us!
Being full time employed you could learn to trade using longer timeframes like the 60 minute, 4 hourly, or even daily charts, but the risk rises with increasing time. Price action applies the same to all instruments and timeframes.
Choose the main Brooks Trading Course unless you are 100% Forex-only. Forex is covered in main course and the Forex course is designed with its How to Trade Forex Price Action videos using near 100% Forex charts.
Take it easy learning to trade. No hurry, and be careful with the many scams out there on the Internet.
I have spent 10's of thousands of dollars on trading courses. If you truly want to learn how to trade I would recommend that you take Al's course and sign up for the trading room. He is by far the most honest, diligent, thorough and best teacher, mentor that I have ever worked with. I still make mistakes and do things that are incorrect, but I am now profitable on a consistent basis. For those of us who are in Al's trading room I can only hope that he will continue to share his knowledge with us as long as possible.
I have been trading for about 2 years now, so technically I am still a beginner. I wish that I had taken this course when I first started. I have not completed the course yet, but Al goes into great detail explaining things that all beginners have to know and it is very comprehensible.

Excellent, excellent advice - in particular, there is NO HURRY. The great thing about the market is, no matter how far it goes, up or down, there are incredible opportunities the next day and EVERY DAY. If you miss a trade, there will be another. And another. And another.
BTW, if you have Powerpoint, or another presentation software, and a screen capture tool like Snip (built in with Windows) you can "take pictures" of the market all day long, or end of day if you are at work, paste them on to slides and review them after market or on weekends to find real-time instances of Al's lessons. Mark them up, make your own notes and observations. Great learning tool.
By the way, don't be afraid to think for yourself. I think Al would agree, we all think differently, and see things differently. The test of any concept is whether it works, not whether someone says it works (or doesn't work). If it does, it's valid. If it doesn't, it isn't. If you see something that works, and you've tested it across many markets, trust your judgement.
I just caved and bought my first trading course! Book learning was always easy for me but I'm so glad I did. However it depends on what you mean by "beginner". I am a beginner (1yr "investing" 3 months "trading") but I had read a bunch of technical analysis books, I personally would not understand the concepts if it was one of the first things I learned. I feel like its similar to neo-classical econ, in that even though so much of it is empirically wrong its its important for context.
Hi,
I am also a beginner, and red a lot of books also the books from Al Brooks, seen a lot of videos, but 3 months ago I bought the Video course of Al Brooks. I am halfway now and simultaneously I trade on the E Micro live, after months on the simulator. Since I a couple weeks I am breakeven and even days profitable.
Al is a great teacher and very thorough. The only disadvantage is that there are so much video’s 🧐, so you have to take your time. When I have seen al the videos, I will start all over again, because it to much to digest in one time.
