TRADE ON THE OPEN

I keep previous day's PA and sometimes a little bit of the day before. It boils down to personal preference but since the previous few days' PA does affect the day's behaviour, I keep at least the bars from the day before.

Yes. That is the point 🙂. If you wish to employ PA principles in your trading, the course and the encyclopedia covers the setups that you should use to trade the open.

I would like to know if I want to trade on the open, how many candle before todays open do I keep on my chart ? Or is it OK if I only see from the first candle and start to trade ?

You might find this thread useful. It shows that the previous day does influence the open sometimes (when there's not a big gap). You may get a pattern that forms using a little bit of yesterday's price action and a few bars on the open and suddenly a big move results: https://www.brookstradingcourse.com/support-forum/postid/4896/
