Hi everyone,
Sometimes in the video course when I see a somewhat obvious (usually non-parabolic) wedge TOP, I'm expecting/anticipating AL to point it out and say something about "3 pushes/legs UP". And often, he indeed does - but just not exactly the way I expected him to. Because he will point at the 3 legs DOWN..in a wedge TOP. The third leg is the reversal move already underway.
That gets me confused. Because normally, according to AL's regular cookie-cutter methodology and terminology, a wedge TOP is 3 pushes UP. And then the reversal follows. Not 3 pushes DOWN, including the reversal.
Vice versa for a wedge bottom.
Has anyone else noticed this?
And can anyone explain this?
I'm 100% sure he's not doing this due to a mistake. I have my own thoughts about this, but I'm curious
-why, in those cases, he doesn't just point out the 3 legs UP which make up the wedge TOP and, instead, points to the 3 legs down (the last one being the reversal)
-what other followers of AL think about this
-if there's anyone here who could attempt to provide an explanation
-if he ever talked about him doing this, in a meta way ("Occasionally I will.."), and if so, where (books/video course?)
Looking forward to any responses!
It's rare... could you point out one example in the course where Al does that (video and minute and second)?
@ludopuig, will do. I will eventually go through the whole course again and post the examples here.
Boggy,
I've noticed the same, not only on this lesson but in many other lessons.
However, there is a lag between the the voice over and picture/presentation. Thus the voice is lagging behind the picture and that probably explains your confusion.
cheers.
