Al only uses the 5-min charts and and exits as late as end of the session. As for a swing, which may stay for a few days, how do we know if market continues the same direction the next day? Thanks

Setup patterns are nested and work the same way on all time frames, It’s just that the lower times frames have many more potential setups during the session than higher time frames. Thus, if you want to hold overnight and swing over multiple days, I suggest that you trade the 1hr chart as Al has suggested in his online course. The problem with holding overnight is that there is higher risk and that you also need higher margin requirements.
