The signal bar (SB) is actually the one with a lower low, so it is the bear bar. When the SB is weak but the context is good, the signal bar high is usually tested. The test happened during the second bull bar and the next bar closing on high made it clear it was going up so it was the highest probability trade.
@ludopuig The image i draw is you means? your SB is Bear bar, But I think the next Bull bar is SB, I wrong?
Yes, your drawing is now correct and the SB is always the one with the lower low. If the SB was the bull bar Al will not be saying that it was a bad SB, don't you think so?
@ludopuig "SB is always the one with the lower low" , I don't think so.
Because AL early said, the Strongest Signal (etc. SELL) Bar -> Open Near or above & Close of prior bar,Close well below prior bar's Close...-->Tail...->Overlap...
The first Bull Bar in the image is fully conforms to the above criteria. The only thing that might be a problem is Overlap.
Please, tell me minute and second in the video where Al told the criteria you are referring to so I can check and further clarify but, as I said, SB is always the one with the lower low. Sometimes you have two bars with the same low and then you can consider whatever of the two as a SB, but if not same low, the lower is the SB, and this is why Al says it is a bad SB. The only exception to that are inside bars, but this is not the case in your drawing.
@richardhkbtc-com : I have gone thru the videos and Peter is right and Al does not include in his criteria to find bull signal bars "SB is always the one with the lower low" (except inside bars), so Peter gets confused. At least it is not said in videos 8A and 8B.
Of course, in all the examples the bull SB is the one with a lower low but because it is not clearly stated maybe some traders can get confused at the beginning. Can you have a look on that?
@303172979qq-com Yes, no requirement to have a lower low in the list, so two things:
* I have already alerted the admin @richardhkbtc-com so Al maybe considers to change something in the course.
* Add this requirement to your list for the SB (for any SB except inside bars) and be alert in following videos to see if it is really that way.
@ludopuig Ok, will follow up and talk to Al as needed. I have suggested to Al that he think about doing a follow up bonus video on bar counting as so many queries, especially when Al calls implied pullbacks.
Thank you both and AL, I will be aleft in following course for this point! Thanks again.
