does anyone know a solution for chart trading on tradestation. The cursor/crosshairs move in penny increments instead of quarter so targeting an exact price is difficult, especially in a hurry. thanks
I don't see how to do that. I do know that the order (and any attached OCO) will snap to a $0.25 value increment once placed. Same if you drag and drop it. TradingView has a $0.25 grid. It would be nice if TradeStation did that as well.
Three methods
1. Draw a horizontal line at Low/High immediately after the close of signal bar. When price crosses the line, buy/sell @market. (probably the best method)
2. Zoom chart in extra big. Depending on time, you can get your price exactly or +/- 0.25
3. Place an order way outside, then drag & drop after signal bar closes. Same results as method #2.
