Does the cursor/crosshairs in Ninja Trader move in penny or quarter increments for ES ?
In ES ticks are quarters of a point, so 0.25 at a time.
Just to clarify, the Ninja Cursor/Crosshairs move in 0.25 increments ?
So it is impossible to put the cursor on anything other than 00, 25, 50, 75 ?
I did see this in one of their demo videos, just need to confirm with users.
thank you
All trading platforms where one can trade the ES will have the minimum price fluctuation be in 0.25 increments. It's dictated by the exchange that owns the instrument (e.g. CME owns ES), not by Ninja themselves.

On TS, the price fluctuation for ES is correctly in quarter increments. However, that is not my question.
Does the cursor/crosshairs on Ninja move in the correct minimum price increments 0.25?
Example> target entry 4000.25
On TS, when moving the cursor around the chart, it moves in penny increments. So you will get near 4000.25, but never exact. Also, you don't know which way it will round the number, up or down. so you may set the order at 4000 or 4000.5. see above picture
The hotkeys for TradeStation work great, but you have to deal with their weird chart scaling where the cursor moves in penny increments for ES / MES (if anyone knows how to change to 0.25 please chime in).
Ninja crosshairs move in 0.25, but placing a limit or stop order can be a bit cumbersome with their chart trader because you have to right click, and then select the order from a drop down menu.
One idea is to use Trading View (free web app) to monitor trades in TradeStation and since their cursor moves in 0.25, you can easily adjust orders from there and they will snap to the 0.25.
I contacted TS tech support and they said there is no solution. I should test run a few platforms to see what works best. Otherwise stay with TS and buy a tick
...or two, or maybe three above a bull bar. Or at the money, or one tick below 🤯
Thanks!
