Hi,
i'm in Europe, so I have plenty of time to trade premarket. 9AM local is 4 AM US eastern.
So I can trade the european session.
Are any of you succesfully trading succesfully the premarket period of the ES, or is it better to avoid it ?
Hi. I know that your question is ES specific and I can't answer that because I do ES during mornings. But just in case you do not know, most European Traders, trade DAX, EUROSTOXX, BUND, CAC, or FTSE.

Thank you for your answer. My only option for the moment is to trade MICRO contracts, which, to my knowledge, are not available on european instruments, hence my inquiry about ES.

Hi Benjamin,
You can surely trade 2-3 hours of the ES before 09:30 ET open. I am in Hong Kong and follow the full 24-hour Globex. Activity is adequate but be careful with 8:30 ET report that can be very volatile.
There is a Micro DAX and a Micro EuroStoxx. Likely a Micro FTSE too. Check your broker data feed.
