Can it be said that defining a trading range is relative to ones trading timeframe. When i trade the 15 minute it may looks like a range then I switch to the one minute it looks like a trend ?
I'm not too experienced here, but yes, most if not all of these patterns are relative to the timeframe. Al always talks about how he can show you a chart without the time frame and the theory will work out the same way. Regardless of the market and timeframe.
i.e. a 1-min chart trading range could be a 1-hour doji bar (trading range bar).
